I have a 03 Accord and am looking to trade it in for either a 08 TL or a 09 TSX. I know the TL is the better car and I am leaning toward especially now that I can get a good deal on a 08 TL.

Can someome please tell me if the ipod menu shows up on the 08 TL/NAV screen?

 

I know there's something called AcuraLink that helps you connect an iPod directly to the stereo system and there's also an AUX jack in the center console on the 08 TLs. You can control the iPod through your car with AcuraLink but I'm not sure if you can see it on the screen. Should be able to.

09 TSX should give you all that functionality on the Nav screen.

I don't think you can. You might want to check in the Audio Section of Acurazine and do a search there for more answers. There are options available though.

 

I thought they got rid of AcuraLink?

There is an Aux input that will allow you to play your iPod through the audio system.

If you want full control through the touch screen then you will need one of the aftermarket iPod integration devices.

 

the 08 TL DOES NOT have full integration yet. There are aftermarket IPOD adapters that can display the text of the song playing, control from the radio and steering-wheel. The TSX has full display of the songs, but is SLOW, it took the TSX 10 minutes to fully load my ipod data up, and then it takes forever to scroll to the bottom of the list.

If you search, you will see a thread just like yours where there were some great posts regarding your delimma.

 

They discontinued the AcuraLink, go for the US Spec or Dice Adapter. That's what I'll be doing, I'm going to be purchasing a 08 TL tomorrow.
