08 MT Type S vs 5.7 GTO vs 06 mt Accord v6
Outstanding race...Roll-On at 35mph...The GTO had exhaust mods...The Accord had intake, exhaust j pipe and 2.5 cat back...TL Type S AEM CAI atlp race pipe stock exhaust.
TL Type S separated from the rivals by the shift of 3rd gear...Winning by 1.5 cars ahead of GTO...Accord was .5 cars behind of GTO...
Once again technology and efficiency of Japanese engines far ahead of American Muscle...Truth is the GTO is by far heavier in curb weight but more powerful engine that those from Honda.
Accord owner claims his 1/4 mile times at 14.2@ 102mph...Impressive numbers for the accord.
GTO or TL owner have not taken the cars to the strip...
Any comments or opinions?

the 04 GTO is 5.7L 350HP V8, many friends of mine owns the 6.0L version and one has the 04 GTO except it was a manual.
unless you raced a driver who cannot shift the MT or a terrible AT driver, it is hard to believe a 08 stock TL type S can win.
what mods did the type S had ? the GTO is a beast if driven correctly.

So indeed it's modded. Is it 6MT or 5AT?
Also note that the race didn't go from a dig, so traction isn't a problem. If they went from a dig things may look a bit different.

I hope you take it to a track.
I'd hate for law enforcement to include Azine in their investigation of two 'juvenile' members involved in a vehicular manslaughter incident during street race just because they didn't want to take it to a track.
