When I purchase my tls. I only got the #2 key fob. I was thinking of buying a used key fob 1 and just get the key parts cut and reprogram. How to reprogram the fob?

 

You need the immobilizer programmed at the dealership. The lock/unlock and driver preferences part can be programmed at home:

You mean the transmitter or the immobilizer chip?

If you mean the transmitter, I don't believe so, not that it's much trouble programming with the instructions above. Done it when I made my switchblade for my 04 TL, worked like a charm.

If you mean the immobilizer, I have no idea how it is programmed at the dealership.

 

I had to reprogram my fob as well and this works like a charm
