My state requires it. I am wondering where can I get it other than getting ripped off at the dealship. If anyone has one that you don't need and would kindly give away, I would really appreciate it. I am living in CA btw.

Welcome to the forums.

This should be posted in the Black Market Forum, but since you can't post a thread there for 15 days, I'll let this run a couple of days to see if you get any replies, but then I will have to close it, so you should post your email address so people can get in touch with you.

do what i do
Dont put One on Dont drill holes in your bumber. Not everyone has one on, especially corvettes.
IF you get pulled over for NOT having a front license plate, they will most likely give you a 15 day to get it corrected, Take two sided tape and put it on your license goto the Oink shop and have the Oinker verify its on and when you get back home just carefully take it off.

Phuck that law, i have never had a front license plate on any of my cars and NEVER got a fine. I have NEVER got pulled over for not having a front plate on expect for once.

Thanks for all the replies! It's good to know that double-sided tape trick. I think I probably worry too much at this bad time. I noticed more people get caught for traffic violations recently in my area. Not sure if that's one way to help close the state budget shortfall.

It definitely does look a lot cleaner without the front plate...the double stick tape idea is damn good when you have to get it inspected...if you don't already have holes drilled in the bumper always try to avoid if possible!

LOL, That's my way of thinking too. Front plates are required in Texas but I don't want to drill holes on my bumper just yet. I'll continue driving without it and hope that they never pull me over
