No hard time - just a little ribbing among fellow TL'ers.... :-)

Cheers

I think both styles of 07 tail-lights are tacky when compared to the 04-06 version. The only reason I appreciate the TL-S grey/red lights is because it makes TL-S spotting easier. Save your money...

It's the base 07 TL that is suppose to have a different light pattern. The TLS lights are the same as the 4-5-6

and...........if this design is so "tacky" or "ricey" why are the TLS owners not swapping them out with the 04-05-06 version......lol.

I agree that that the 'S tails may seem gimmicky to some degree and look after market even, but what we have is what we get from Acura. That apparently did not stop loads of peeps here shlapping these tails on, myself included!

I wish the tails were similar to those of the new Audis, for some reason I'm really digging their new rear end design! Just my 0.5 cent.

there are no differences in lighting pattern.... I just swapped the lights this afternoon.... I took the old leds and put them into the new housing.... they fit perfectly.... the side marker lights did took a bit longer because the connectors are not the same.... if you don't want to spend extra $60 for the harness, cut the clip off the connector and squeeze the connector into the plug.... it works perfectly

I agree with Steve and with this "ricey" stuff.... it's all depends on your preferences.....and the term ricey have no bases for comparison and definition to back it up it's your car, do as you like....

Are you seriously saying that?? There is nothing wrong with dressing the TL up with TLS tail lights, if that is what one likes. It's not trying to "be a TLS". Its the look and a personal preference. Get off your high horse and chill. We are all proud to have a TL and we should be giving encouragement when we modify or dress up our cars. Now, if it is something that just totally makes the car look ugly or it just doesn't fit the car, then we voice our opinions about it. But, seriously, this is something that is already a part of our car and will look great on any level.

LOL.... my next mod will be the side mirrors..... anyone knows where to get a good deal.... meanwhile, the search for the right dvd navi drive continues.... ultimately.... i might go with quad pipes with the tls rear under spoiler

I still have the swapped out front bumpers and front under spoiler.... and bunch of the "spare" parts from all the swapped out parts.... what can I do with this.... what's a good price for these? - brand spanking new side rocker panels
- great condition front brake/rotors/knockle/pads
- original steering wheel
- near perfect front bumper
- near perfect front under spoiler (front lip)
- type S front lower grill
- perfect condition 04-06 tail light cover
- perfect condition 04-06 rear side marker
- factory air filter

Purchased Type S Lights

Hey everyone,

I went ahead and purchased a set of the Type S lights and had them put in my car today. They look great just as mostly everyone here on this thread had said.

Thanks for all the help guys!
