07 TL Type-S brake pads, rotors and caliper recommendations

First post here on acurazine. Recently got an 07 type S and it has 135k miles on it, definitely needs a brake job. So just to be safe I'm going to do all rotors, pads and probably new front calipers since I know those are known to fall apart after so many uses. Just curious what everyone recommends for as far as brand goes. I don't want drilled rotors, slotted are just fine imo. I don't want brakes that squeal or need to be heated up before they stop squealing and I definitely don't want brake dust to be a huge issue. That said I know that most things that offer that are relatively pricey and am okay with paying slightly more for the benefits to last longer. Thanks!

Centric rotor kit and akebono pads for little dust. No need for new calipers, be sure to flush the brake fluid and lube up the slide pins. Rockauto sells them and there's a 5% discount in the sponsored sales section here.

I can vouch for the Akebon (ASP1001) pads not being dusty unlike the brembo/acura pads. Akebono kinda skimps you on the grease so I had a bit of noise initially but after regreasing with some CRC caliper grease they are completely quiet. I went with stoptech from rockauto for the calipers, they are remanufactured brembos and $100 a piece before core/$50 after core on rockauto. They went on fine but I can't vouch for durability as I just put them on last weekend.

Dust is a sign of a pad that's working though....

If you want low/no dust, then ceramic is your bet.

Powerstop Z16/17/23 are all commonly available low dust pads that sorta still work.

Raybestos EHT dust a tiny bit more...but work better.

Most people like Akebono options.

I think Stoptech Street (308) is probably close to OEM in terms of dust and stopping power.

Stoptech Sport (309) is a great choice for a performance option. They're kinda dusty - not terribly bad.

Rotors?
Pick a decent brand of coated rotor. Centric. Stoptech. Bendix. Powerstop. Whatever. They're just rotors.

^i think a lot of people overthink or get hung up on braking components.

Another vote for Akebono ceramic pads. Great on my G35, stops at least as well as the super dusty pads it had on it when I bought it. Ended up doing the same for my Accord recently. Used Brembo blanks for rotors.
