'07 TL Type S battery question
Hey all,
I searched and couldn't find an answer for this. My TL type S needs a new battery and when I went on advance auto to search for one, There is note saying that I need to use an AGM type super expensive battery because "This vehicle model is identified as Electrically and Environmentally Challenged by JD Power." Now, does this actually mean anything or can I buy a Gold battery (which is what I use in all my other cars including an F250 with a plow) for approximately $50 less? It's the same group size 24F. I don't know if I am missing something here or not.
Thanks all!

Type 24F...Diehard gold, Walmart...about 100-120 bucks. Home Depot sells one w/ 100 month waranty for about 100 bucks too. There are many a battery thread in Azine.
Use google search with acurazine included in the search.

if you have a costco membership pick one up at Costco. Cheap and very good battery (one in my 07 TLS right now as well as my 04 TSX which cranked the tsx in -15 degree Celsius weather today (about 5 Fahrenheit)
Same thing I did , got a very nice Interstate battery at Costco for a good price. It's a good battery 24F. I think it was around $67.00.
