07 TL-S wiper blades
Today it was raining and i put on the int wiper because it was realy drizzling light. I put it on the setting that int turns on the wipers every 1 1/2 second to 2 sec intervals. basically it was the last setting meaning the shortest wait time. waiting at the light listening to my new Nas, hiphop is dead cd when it turns green. As i sped up I noticed the faster I went The wipers sped up also. I had an 05 and an 06 and never saw that feature, never noticed. is this a new feature or an old one? I thought is was cool. I sped up, wipers went faster, slowed down The wipers slowed down. i know i pissed off alot of people on the road but that really caught me off guard. but was this always a feature????

My '06 does that. Im pretty sure all TLs have that feature. It also has quickwipe... so as soon as you take your foot off of the brake(even if for a second) it cleans the windshield. Kind of a nice feature...

my 06 does this, but it doesn't really slow down or speed up as i step on the gas. instead, it seems like there's 2 different speeds. low speed when the car is at a complete stop, and fast when its in motion.

Speed sensitive wipers. You have a VSS signal that goes to a wiper module that will adjust the speed of the wipers to the speed of the vehicle. Many manufacturers also use the same thing to adjust the volume of the radio with the speed of the vehicle. I'm not sure if Acura uses the Speed Sensitive Volume though. But many manufacturers do...and have for several years.

Speed sensitive wipers are a forte of the TL. But have you notice this for the 07's?
Acura has changed the movement of the water that comes off the blades, instead of it going to the side of the car it is suppose to go over the car. I guess this means that you can have your windows open and it shouldn't drip in. I know I try to drive with my window cracked during slow rains.

Also:
If you set the intermittent setting to the shortest interval while you're stopped, the wipers will simply be "on" (no intermittent any more) after you speed up past something like 12 MPH.

Im not a fan of driving my car in the rain, because its black and i like to keep my car spotless. But because my curiosity will drive me nuts im going to try out this feature.
I didnt know when you let off the brake the wipers performs a quick wipe thats amazing.
