07 TL-S vs Integra Type R?

Ok, who would win stock vs stock? (meaning type s vs. type r integra, no modification except for intake and exhaust)

My friend has a type r integra and think he can rape pretty much any car, but i dont know if he can beat the TL 07 S

i know his car is much lighter but i think the 07 tls have more pull to it.

What do you think? He would love to race any 07 tl s around the dallas area..cause i made a bet with him that the 07 tls will beat him lol

TL-S will pull on the ITR in a straight line race.... ITR is a track car, not a dragster.

I would love to see both at a track! Not straight line racing but a real track.

with just an intake and exhaust on the ITR, i think the TL-S would win. being manual would give you a better chance also.

Yeah you would pull on him slightly, just make sure you don't race with a full tank of gas.

i have a stock 6MT 07 TL Type S.. and my younger brother has an 01 Integra Type R with intake only.. we drive each others cars quite often so we both have a feeling for each others cars, and the TL kicks ass everytime we race them regardless whos driving the TL. the TL is always out in front by 1/2 to 1 1/2 car length.. on the highway its much worse.. the TL only had 4,500 miles on it when we ran them...

The ITR is relatively slow in a straight line. Handling and steering feel are where the ITR shines.

195 hp/130 ft lbs from a 1.8 liter four, about 2650 pounds, FWD.

They do 0-60 in the low 6s and the quarter in mid 14s stock.

do u have MT or AT? But it doesnt matter since you will win for sure anyways, unless you screw up something. The faster you are going, the more you will win!

LSD comes stock on ITRs, unless he got an aftermarket one. He has a Stage 1 clutch kit, it will grab a little better, and I don't know what the 1.0 compression is all about. Unless his motor is built he won't have a chance, the intake won't make much of a difference.

There is a vid somewhere that the ITR lost to the 03 CL-s in a race stock for stock so the TL-s shouldnt have a problem

Even the AT only 2nd gen TL-S can keep up if not beat a DC2 ITR in a straightline stock vs stock.
