07 TL-s

Hope no one jacks this thread. here is the rest of the pic's of my tl-s. One thing is that the active noise cancellation does work well. you can't even hear the engine most of the time.

this is the light under the dash that makes your foot amber. its just like the blue light by the sunroof that shines blue by the shift knob

this is the sensor for the autoheadlights

My camera is not working and had to get el cheapo out. please mind the dirty car for driving this thing is all I want to do right now. But like in my last thread this car is alot smoother and more quiet than the last 3 years. The stick is noticably quicker than the first three years and the 6spd tls is the way to go because the auto to me just felt lame. i wanted to wait till 4G tl to come out , but I can have some fun for the next two years!!

Wow! I think you're the first one here with an 07... or at least a TL-S!

That's looking awesome. Great choice on the trans, too.

Anyone thinking of auto is wasting there time. i drove both and was not impressed with the auto. The auto is however faster than the other years though, just does not bring out the full potential of the car

Do you live in the Ft lauderdale area and use to have a white 04-06 TL? That neighborhood looks like my friends neighborhood and I remember always seeing a white TL and that gold tl parked next to each other. I forgot what the neighborhood is called but i think its around commercial

So the headlights are blackened and cleared (except the small reflective piece) on the Type S's. Why couldn't have they put this thing out in 06.

I love the new S, making me want to trade in my car, but I would be losing out a lot.

I am just curious, is there an A spec out for the new body style TLs?

Very nice!

I think it may have been you in another thread that mentioned the wheels look better in-person.. Have to admit that's the only thing that stands out as a "dislike" for me (though easily remedied..). Keep us updated as the miles accrue.

You know it,,, we are all envious!

Does this dual exhaust system make a big difference in sound? Anyone with sound clip?

Congrats on the new ride. It looks good in black. Get some Ron Jons on there quick though

I'm jealous of the improved navi and stereo. I'd be interested in some more pictures of the screens (some CD-TEXT and the navi maps).

Doesn't mean you'll get that sound with the J32 though.

Kobi -

Anyway we could get a night shot of the Red Interior Footwell Lighting? I'm curious to know how much is emitted... ...I may want to try and do a mod for my 06 with Blue.

Thanks

I love the new TL-S. I also don't mind the amber interior. Looks like Honda took a cue from the EM1 Si and DC2R, both performance models, and both having amber interiors. For those of us that remember that or had those cars, it's a very nice touch.

I test drove a 07 TL Type-S, Alabaster Silver Met./ Ebony/Silver Int. 5sp auto. Sweet ride, great acceleration, love the new navi, and the new radio screens on the Navi are very nice. The navi actually looks sharper. The Red Lighting is easy to get used to. I didn't get a chance to play with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

I'm sold on a Type-S except for the wheels (I like the Base TL's split 5-spoke) and I like the Taupe interior better with the Alabaster Silver than the Ebony/Silver (sorry Kobi).

When I drove my '06 TL 5sp auto home I really like the '07 Type-S even more. Now I need to crunch numbers and see what kind of trade I'd get . Dealer's selling the Type-S at MSRP. Wonder if I wait six months if the dealer will come off the MSRP more than my '06 will depreciate between now and then? And maybe they'll swapped out the wheels with a '07 Base TL.

Kobi, did you trade with the same dealer you got your '06 from?

P.S. I highly recommend test driving an '07 Type-S, just be prepared, you'll want one!!!

30k but my situation was diff. I had two tl's 05 06 prior and had major problems with both due to the dealership. so i came out ahead i think so stick was not bad for me

tried to take a pic of the light and it does not show. it is not bright enough for the camera to pick up, but it is the same intensity as the blue light overhead at night
