'07 TL Apsec B-kit vs TL Type S B-kit
I have the dumbest question...but whatever... 
for the body-kits...aside from the rear lip because of the exhaust...the side is exactly the same..because of the same part number but the front....the grill is different...but can u still fit the Type-S front Lip into a TL-Navi???
the Type-s front lip one looks better than the Base model front lip (my opinion)

they are the same car...
i am just getting answers to front part of the lip kit....
i want to retrofit that front lip onto a TL-Base 07
cuz i find the TL-Base front lip kit is not really define....
They are both Type-S cars....
one is just a-spec b-kit, one is type-s b-kit...

just because of like lil bit minor difference.....
oh well...i guess i just hook up the normal a-spec kit...it's not that bad....

sorry about the post...
07 TL-navi bodykit isn't that bad...if you put it on....
i don't think there is anything i can do without changing the whole front bumper....
i'll change it when i finish with the other stuff

i have 07 tls and wish they made the front lip like the 04-06 front lip.......i was going to buy the 06 just because I liked the front lip better but when I drove the tls i fell in love! LOL

i know the feeling of falling in love with the TL...
at first i was like hmm it's okay......just like any other luxury sedan...
when i tested drove it...and actually try the features of the car....omg....i was like....my next car....!!!! it's like i got shot in the face....
hahaha

B-Kit = Body Kit
As in A-Spec Body Kit.
Personally, I think the middle section of the A-Spec Type-S front lip looks aweful. The way that line cuts across and down ...

Both are Type S wdp TL's 2007-08. A Spec is a total Pkg which includes full skirt, suspension, and steering wheel w/ aspec badge
Now Type S only has 1 oem skirt. both seen in this pic have skirt pkg, the TL on their left, our right has the side skirts and probably rear but nothing on front..... while the other TL has the front skirt on.
base 07-08 skirt goes underneath kinda like the 04-06, but slightly different than the older tl's.... base and type S fronts are not interchangable....

And btw everyone who is saying that the tl on the right has an a-spec lip on it is wrong to begin with. There are 3 different front lips for the tl.
The Base model tl can have either the base lip or the base model a-spec style. The base lip just slightly extends the lower portion of the bumper. whereas the base model a-spec flares out to thr front a bit more and gives a slight aggressive look as well as black painted trim on the lower section just in the front of it.
The Type-s has it's own a-spec style which is the one in the pic on the left. You lose the chrome trim in the lower grills when you use this lip and it changes the look of the fogs.
And if you don't believe me look at jptlo4's pics, he has the base model lip on a type-s and so do I.

I have an '08 TL base and I want to put '07 type-s front underspoiler/lip. I heard that on base the fogs are inverted, but when you put the type-s lip it covers the fog mostly. My qestion is, would you be able to see the difference? does the type s lip fits the base bumper?

I'm trying to figure out the same thing myself. Yes both are type-s and the one on the right doesn't have a-spec front kit, but question is if i have a base tl 2007 will I be able to fit the a-spec kit made for the type-s onto my base tl without changing the whole entire bumper.
If fogs were a problem can I just buy fogs made for type-s and put them into the type-s a-spec kit?

I'm with Bearcat....I don't like the Aspec Kit for the Type S. The Base TL Aspec Kit is a must for any Base TL.
I purchased a Base TL Aspec Kit for my Type S, but it wouldn't fit. I'd guess that it would be the same for the Type S Aspec Kit fitting on a Base TL.

i agree that the type S lip kit doesn't look that good (my opinion) but for me a TL-S owner i have no other choice of front lips unless i replace the whole bumper which is too much work...i dont know, the more and more i look at it, it kinda grows on me....
For me, because my front bumper has a scratch on it that i think the type S lip may cover because it sits higher i might be able to cover the scratch, if i can't cover it i might do a molded type s lip so there is no line and everything runs smoother....but we'll see in spring when i go lip hunting...

I guess I just don't understand...(the A-spec hype) I personally think that the Type-S looks better than any non Type-S anyway and has the bigger engine, brakes, etc,etc,etc. Was'nt it optioned because there was'nt a Type-S available yet? No offense fellow Acura mavens,please. I just can't see converting an "S" into something it's not, seems like a way to make an '07 or '08 into an older skinnier version? Was the A-spec pkg. produced through '07-08?? I don't mind being wrong though, it's what makes a forum fun and productive.

aspec was a dealer installed option for the RL,TL,TSX and RSX I believe. I think 04-06 were the years it was sold as a complete package for the TL. After that you could buy the parts individualy, like just the aero kit, or just the suspension,etc. It doesn't "convert" a TL-S into anything? The aero kit just gives the TL a bit more aggressive look.
