whats the different between 07-08 Type S FRONT Bumper and 07-08 Base FRONT Bumper

why cant the base A-spec fit on the TYPE S. and why cant the ASPEC TYPE S KIT fit on the base...

i cant seem to see the differences.. im blind.

anyone got picture comparisons?

Now i see it.. so basically. my question is...... would 07-08 TL-S aspec front lip fit on the Base? , what would you hafto customize..

and also, i see the lower foglight grilles, They are different...... like ones flipped Upside down.. something like that because the bumper..... so another question, do the TYPE S, use the same lower grille as the BASE??

 

The lower grills are angled differently in the 07-08 type-s and base bumpers, therefore the two A-spec lips are not interchangeable.

If you want a type-s A-spec lip, you need a type-s bumper, and if you want a base A-spec lip, you need a base bumper. Otherwise, you will need to do some modification.

 

what about the lower grilles. do they use the same one, or i would hafto find the specific one for the bumper

 

You need the grilles for the specific bumper.

 

Like paz840 say this bumpers are totally different you can't put the Base lip in type S bumper or type s lip on a base bumper and the lower grill where the fogs are situated if different angle too so you need to get the right parts for each one...

 

what are the exact modification you have to do to fit '07 type-s lip to '08 base?
