'06 6MT 1/8th mile video, bolt on TL guys chime in please

ok so this was the very first time I've been down a drag strip period, I did not do a burn out or anything because I didn't think it was necessary since that track is pretty sticky anyways but I did have a little wheel hopping on one run when I tried to run the R's up to about 2500 or so... time slip printer must've been running out of ink so it's hard to see or I'd post pics

REACTION. 0.536
60ft-------- 2.411
330ft-------- 6.309
594ft-------- 8.868
ET 9.441 @78.48 mph

I do know that our cars aren't going to really do anything spectacular on an eighth mile track, for several reasons... and I definitely want to go to a 1/4 mile track which I may do here soon, there isn't one where I live but theres one about 60 miles away in gulfport mississippi... anyways I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me if my time is worth a shit or not... or had a time that you may have ran to compare with me... I just want to know how my car stacks up against others cars in the same class...

Seems to be in line with my only run in a 19 TLX 3.5 PAWS:

That is awesome, really nice pass and beautiful car... I bet those are very fun to drive. I have never seen those before I never really did research into it but I was under the impression the new TLX's were mainly 4 cylinders... I was disappointed because they are absolutely beautiful cars... Glad they put a V6 in one... Surely they made manuals... How do you like the 8 speed auto? I think I have that right

Aside from the Type S, the new TLXs are only four cylinders (turbo). My run above was in my old 1G V6; not the most fun car to drive but, more capable than given credit for. As that was my only run ever in that car, I’m pretty sure I left a couple of tenths (and a mile per hour or two) on the table.
