06’ HID Ballast Pos/Neg Terminals

The pictures below are for illustration purposes only but they get the point across (I hope) of what I’m asking.

I’m going to tune a new set of projectors and I need to supply power to the ballast. Unfortunately I don’t have a harness to connect to the black connector on the ballast.

Does anyone know which prong is the positive and which is negative on this male connector? Until I find a harness, or if someone knows how to make a connector, I’ll just have to be VERY careful.

I want to tune the projectors without taking my front bumper off. Anyone done anything like this? Thank you!

Take a multimeter to the pigtail in the car to test pos/neg and then compare that to the input on the ballast.

Or just buy these https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ma...-pigtails.html

Referring to your 1st image, the right prong is ground and the left is positive.
