I know there are a million threads about rattles, I also know some people have already reported their 05TL with problems.

I wanted to come by to tell that I have the sunroof visor (headliner) rattle. With it opened or close (NOT THE GLASS itself) the headliner rattles. If I push it up or hold it down, it does not rattle. Its more of a clicking noise than a rattle.

Oh well.

That problem is probably easily fixed. I had a very similar issue with my TSX. the fault tolerances are very low in the current Acura line. Because the gaps between the rubber gaskets and windows is small, you can get some noise, particularly from dirt on the rubber. So, go to your local autoparts store and get a bottle of Vinylex, NXT Protectant, or similar product. Then, give all the gaskets around your doors and the sunroof a good cleaning. The Vinylex will make the gaskets kind of slippery as well as nice and clean. That will basically make all the rubbing noises go away. I did this in my TSX and the car when from being noisey and annoying to quiet.

Hangon, so you are saying spray vinylex on the headliner? Any chance you can take a pic and point out exactly where you are talking about? Thanks! points to you

I don't even know where to start. I have a loosen piece in the center console. The driver's door makes different noises; "clicks" and some low noise like when crossing a rail road, rougher pavement. Left lower side of dashboard does the same. Front right speaker makes some "pumf" when playing music (doesn't have to be loud music)...
But I still love the car.

I have the same issue with rattles in the Headliner area, but only when the roof is opened at 'tilt'.... I plan on taking it in to the dealer to have 'em check it out since the car is only 1 month old.

I was just wondering if this type of problem is common with TL's?

Just open the sunroof all the way. Stick your fingers where the window closes (front side). You will see the two pieces of black rubber (wind deflector) sticking out. Stick two pieces of adhesive backed foam (1/4-1/2 inch thick) underneath the wind deflectors. This fixed my rattle problem.

Right, this could fix, when we talk about the rattle from that wind deflector.

Sorry, I couldn't get teh right pic to show you guys, but this one is pretty close and you could put two pieces at 1/3 location or on two sides close to the arms of the deflector.
