'05 TL Deal

Hi guys, i am new to this forum and need help with a purchase. I am looking to buy a 05 TL with 58k mileages. It's auto with Navi. the car has clean title and pretty good service record. KBB values it for 16k, but i know kbb is overvalued and the guy asked for 15k firmly. so what you guys think? how much would this worth and is it a good deal? Thanks alot

that's a good price for an 05 and low mileage. i highly doubt he'd go for 14K though. i wouldn't. i have an 05 with 53K miles...i'd be asking more if i was selling.

your call...if all looks good you'd have a great deal for a low mileage 05. just my .

have you seen the car???

$15k sounds like a fair price to me.

looks clean from the pics...then again pics don't do the car justice as if we were there in person. $15K is a fair price as long as there are no skeletons...

It's a fair price. I got my 04 with 51k for 14k. If you can even negotiate it lower then all the better for you. Doesnt hurt to try.

the valet key or an extra set with the key fob??

valet key cheap. the extra set with key fob...will be a bit more since the key needs to programmed along with the key fob. dealer will be pricey i'm guessing $150-200ish? valet...go to a key cutting place/locksmith.

you're sstill getting a great deal for $15K. but you tried.

Go all in !

If it's the color combo you want. $15K is a GREAT price for the mileage/year

I'm buying a 2006 TL, auto, nav, 50K miles, SSM/Black for $17,000. So $15K is good!

Not a bad price. It depends on what you want. I got an 07' with 40K (no navi) miles for $18K last year.

for 04-06
options only were:
AT or MT
w/ or w/o navi
and for MT w/ or w/o summer tires
also aspec if you coughed up the extra $$$ for the aspec pkg.

for 07-08:
base AT only w/ or w/o navi
type-s: AT or MT not sure if summer tires were an option (wasn't in the market at that time)

so not sure what "premium" model you are reading about.

this thread about the...hybrid type s...its more for kicks and giggles, b/c for us enthusiasts...we know what to look for.

if the ad said "premium" they have NO IDEA what the hell they're selling.

no such thing as a "premium" pkg for this car.

I have similar question as well. But mine are not as bad of a condition as aIRpeACE. I just bought mine and the driver and passenger leather needs new inserts since the cracks bug me, and the i thnk their vinyl bolsters need to be replaced. Once I have money saved I will just get all seats reupholstered.

Finally pick up the TL and i am pleased with the car. only problem i have right now is that the previous owner only had one key and it's memory 2. what's the difference between memory 1 and 2 and how much to get a remote key? thanks

I actually have that on my list to buy. I wanna replace both my sets of remote keys since they are all worn out. I found a website:

http://www.keylessremotesonline.com/...B.qscstrfrnt02

The dealer I'm sure will charge much more the remote. I tried Ebay but most are used.

I dont think there is major difference, as Im pretty new to my TL. I thnk the difference is the key 1 nd key remotes are set to driver 1 memory and driver 2 memory for car e.g. like the seats, and mirrors nd radio stations preset. But I could be wrong hope a long time acura member chimes in.

There isn't a difference between 1 and 2. That just allows two different people to have the positions of the mirrors and seats saved.
