05 Tl 5at M-d???
Hey guys... does the 05 TL have the option for both manual, and automatic... am I being a complete NEWB here where it has always offered that? I looked on the drive console and I saw the M-D on my AT, and my brother said I can switch between AT and 5 speed MT...
is that true? sorry for being an idiot!!

yes, thats true. it's not Manual. it's TipTronic. basically like an SMG setup where up push the shifter forward for an upshift, backward for a downshift. depending on how fast you start off the line, the car will generally shift from 1st to 2nd FOR YOU. 2 to 3, to 4, to 5 and back is all you. Don't redline. Happy driving!
