05 Cadillac CTS-V Vs. 04+ Supercharged Acura TL
I want this for a friendly race! I think that it would be lots of fun! I was going to buy one before I got my V but desided to go with the V due to the numbers it can put out whhen modded!
I live in the DFW area if anyone is down?
My Mods: Flowmaster Exhaust. Thats it! Pretty stock!

Bring it on out to the Cars & Coffee meet on 8/29 at the BMW dealer off of The North Dallas Tollway and Spring Creek (Plano)
It starts at 6am and goes till 10ish. Most of us usually get there around 8am . . . when it starts cooling off it'll go back to the 8am-12 noon time.

I can possibly see a well driven 6MT supercharged TL with full bolt ons giving you a good fight, but any 5AT is out of the question. Isn't your car a high 12-13.00 car at around 110 mph? It's gonna take a turbo TL to really pull on you.

Fastest stock V went 12.6 at 114. The average is 12.9 to 13.5 ranging around 106 to 110. Most of the time our cars will trap around 108 or 109.

Its rair for a V to get under a 2.0 60'
Our 0 to 60 times qoute 4.6 but that would take the hand of god blessing our rear dif. Im sure I can pull a 12.6 in the 1/4
if someone has an extra 8k laying around so that I can do a few 3.5 to 4k launches and just go buy a madman rear once mine explodes. jk

Are there any 04+ turbo TL's? And has anyone got the fix on the PSI issues that the TL engine has? I remember that the TL's couldnt take a lot of boost for one reason or another and was limited to around 4 to 6 psi! Its been years since I looked into that.

As far as the supercharged ones, there are a couple 6MT's that have gone 13.1-13.2 @ ~107 on street tires, so they could probably give you a good run.

sweet! Thats what I like to hear. I love the style 04-07 TL's. I hope I dont affind anyone by saying that I cant stand the way the new ones look. Im just a huge fan of the 04-07. Was it 08 or 09 that the new body style came out?
