Does anyone know if a type s rear bumper including lip will fit on my 2005 base Acura tl? I have the aspec lip kit on right now but would like to put quads on. I do see the forum where he modified the base bumper to fit but I do not want to do any cutting. Thanks guys!

Yes it will go on exactly how your base bumper is installed... Nothing extra needed. Remove and replace that's it.

Did you happen to land a good deal on a Type-S rear bumper + Type-S rear A-Spec lip kit?

I ask because the rear bumper is about $300 by itself not painted. Add $300 to get it painted. Add another $300 for the TL-S A-Spec rear lip kit. That's almost $900. My numbers were rounded up a bit so it might actually be a little less but that's still very expensive..

I bought the rear lip for about $275 and just used a dremel to cut the exhaust openings slightly wider on both sides and installed the TL-S rear lip on my base bumper for $275 total.

Prior to having the TL-S rear lip, I had the base model A-Spec lip installed.

Wow, that looks great. No, I did not find a deal of any sort. I was just going to be buying it straight up. I don't want to make any mistakes when doing my rear bumper that's why I thought I can just purchase the bumper with the lip. It sounds pricey. Do you mind telling me how you did yours?? Thanks for all the help as I want to weld on 3 in quad tips.
