If it was tastefully designed I could like it. I saw one on an Oettinger Audi A4, with the kit, the lip spoiler on the trunk and the roof lip spoiler, it looked good.

I don't think anyone will be making it though...unless RonJon wants to. If it was a subtle touch, I might go for something like that.

The good news is they usually just stick on with some 3m tape. Bad news, they are easily stolen.

what purpose does it serve ? is it for looks only ?

looks fugly to me, but that's just me. the more sleek and slender my TL is, the more i want to drive it.

I suggest having a vinyl top installed first, then put the wing on top of that.

This was the Oettinger kit I was talking about for the A4. I thought the roof spoiler worked well with the kit. I can see how it is not for everyone though. Link is below:

we don't need anything that might possibly compromise an already fragile headliner.

I can see that, the A4 is a pretty rounded looking car.

I know it doesnt look good on all the cars, but i would love to see what it would look like on one of the new Tls thats all. i dont think it would be riced out at all. thats just my opinion though.

Look at BMW, Mercedes, Audi. Do you see a lot of spoilers?

Now look at the sporty offerings from Chevy, Pontiac, Chrysler.

Are you sure you're heading in the right direction on this?

Doesn't do much for me either on the A4 or the Benz. Different strokes for different folks, I guess!

maybe if they make it like the VW Turbo, a wing that flips up and down depending on speed...

that would work on the TL.
More hi-tech.

Actually that sounds like good news. But who would want it? Or do they just steal it to save the car from the emarassment?

Let me clear things up!

OK I DIDNT KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THESE. FIRST OFF YES THERE ARE TWO OTHER COMPANIES THAT MAKE THEM ONE BEING SARONA AND THE OTHER IM NOT SURE IF YOU SEARCH EBAY FOR ROOF WING THEY WILL COME UP THEY RUN ABOUT $275 SHIPPED!
FOR EVERYONE ELSE THAT PICTURE OF THE ULTIMA LOOKS TERRIBLE THE ONE FOR OUR CARS LOOKS AMAZING! IT IS KIND OF LIKE THE SMALL LIP SPOILER FOR THE TRUNK AND IT GOES ON THE REAR WINDSHIELD AGAIN LOOKS GREAT! I JUST ORDERED ONE FROM EBAY....IF YOU GUYS GOOGLE ACURA TL ROOF SPOILER YOU WILL SEE GREAT PICS

I hope for 275 you bought a sarona one. The other one is for 150 bucks and it doesn't fit 100%, you have about a quarter of an inch gap on either side. Sarona makes probably the best one that fits perfect and I believe its $300.
