'04 TL with rebuilt title, how much is it worth?
looked at a rebuilt titled tl with 90k miles on it. everything seems good, it's got the auto tranny. a-spec lip kit and wheels, intake, catback. how much would you guys say this car is worth? meaning if you were to buy it what offer would you make?

Yeah I'd push for 6k or less, since its a rebuilt title once u have it your not going to get as much as you bought it for (thats is you find another buyer) Have to look n see what was fixed and happened, always better to buy it from the person who wrecked it then another person who doesnt know IMO. good luck man

thanks guys, i wanted to trade my car for it. but my car's got a clean title and now i know the value of his car! i don't think i'm taking his tl anymore since re-sale value of rebuilt titled cars goes down a lot and it's hard to sell them too.

If you are already thinking of resell the car and not keeping it for a long time, then dont bother with a rebuilt title car. I had a few and they are much harder to sell. If you are looking to get a car alot cheaper and generally less miles, than that is a good way to go. If you check it out and depends on why it carries the rebuilt title.
I am form NY and I have heard many times that in NY if the car was inspected to get the rebuilt title in another state other than NY, that NY state would make me get the car re-inspected, and this could a real pain in the ass.

i sold my old scion tc above blue book with a rebuilt title, you can do it, it just depends on the condition of the car its in when you sell it and what the carfax says about why its a rebuilt title. Mine was from a crash to the right quarter panel, i owned it for 3 years with no alignments problems whatsoever. Just depends.

OP I hope you didn't buy it. Unless you know the parts they used and what it looked like before, you are taking a risk. I dealt with salvage cars...bought, fix, sell...I always had pictures and used dealer parts.
Most people just clip that shit together with bondo and keystone parts, not cool.
