'04 TL owners, list highest mileage

Here is my 04 TL at 268k, original everything.
I change the oil every 5000 with Mobil super 5000 and 3x3 dw1 drain and fills every 30k. I have used the ATF z1 up until it became unavailable.
This car is unbelievable, runs like new still! I'm waiting for it to give me problems because I scored a full drop out drivetrain on subframe with zero miles on it from a car that was crushed during unloading for $500!!!

160,000, Mobil 1 5W20 in the summer and 0W20 in the winter, Mobil 1 Oil filter.
I just take it really easy on cold starts. Wait for the engine patiently until it gets warm. 6spd manual and I've started changing the transmission fluid more often now. Once every 2 oil changes. I tend to drive pretty aggressively and that keeps its running smooth.

216k - runs/drives great with new LCA bushings and motor mounts. Original clutch....
Very glad to see the 233k and 268k posts.
http://automobiles.honda.com/mile-makers/ - do we have a taker for a 500k or even a 1,000,000 challenge? Crazy! One of many stories from the site says "Besides his fastidious maintenance, Joe's Accord made it to one million miles because he's loved it. He's treated it with respect and always drove it responsibly. In fact, Joe has only gotten one speeding ticket in a million miles—that must be some kind of record. When it comes to driving, Joe's the man. I know that loving a car can mean you take great care of it. The one speeding ticket that is another story.

I'd be kind of spooked about putting one of those badges on my car, though. Bad luck and all that. Back in 1995 my father received one from Volvo for my mother's 1988 Volvo 740 sedan. He put it on the car. Within a month the radiator cracked.

I just picked mine up. 2004 with 6sp. It currently has 111000 miles. Seems to be running well. Just a bit of funny feel on clutch engagement. All in all it seems well

Hey everyone. First post here. Thanks to everyone who posted helpful info regarding changing spark plugs, ATF fluid, Radiators, 3rd/4th gear pressure switches, etc. You guys have save me tons of $.
234,300 miles here. 2004 Acura TL.
1. What type of oil did you use?
Penzoil. Regular oil. Not high mileage.
2. When did you first change your oil (in terms of mileage)?
Bought my car in 07 with 60k miles. at 63k and from then every 3k - 5k miles.
3. How often did you change your transmission fluid?
30k
4. Does your car still run like it is brand new?
It did up until June of this year when my tranny went and now I think my catalytic converter is going. My mechanic won't be back until Jan. My radiator cracked earlier this week and I replaced it myself. Thanks to this site.

on my 05 my engine went when i hit 350,000 original miles , my clutch went when i hit 245,000 , at that many miles my car was burning oil and i had to top it off every week , commuting to work 1500 miles a week was burning about 2 quarts a week and i forgot to check the oil and boom there it went, i ended up getting an used engine with 45,000 for $2500 installed and im still going strong.

Rick, when did your car start using oil? I'm at 222k miles and with 6-7k mile oil changes with Mobil 1, it still only uses 1 qt between changes total... The car does need a pass side axle shaft replaced, and I just changed the driver side tie rod end. I need to do the timing belt/water pump/tensioner again...
Edit: I forgot to add the engine still runs strong; I went up against some punk ass kid with his moms newer ford Taurus and smoked him, also pulled away from my friends Mini Cooper supercharged with a chip, exhaust, intake and pulley. He was shocked!

Update:
I sold the car recently with 270k on it. What is interesting is how much of the car was bone stock original parts: the entire exhaust including mufflers, front end suspension except for sway bar end links and 1 tie rod end, radiator and ac condenser, front wheel bearings etc, starter/ps pump etc. Even at 270k miles it didn't leak anything or use oil... I will def be buying another TL soon!

Original 2004 owner. 175k miles on it. Original timing belt and spark plugs. Thinking about replacing them asap. Mileage is falling off a bit, used to get 300 miles per tank bu tnow averaging 270. Have replaced the rack a couple times and the transmission once. Both CV shafts as well.
