I was drving to work today and im in the right lane is going to merge ,than i side by side with a GMC yukon watting for the light i wasnt try to race him cuz i have to merge into a 3-2 lane and i don want to wait the traffic back there (i though i can win by about 2-3 length cuz is a SUV so don want to borther) so i was floor about 3/4 gas when the light turn green than that guy/girl (didnt see male or female cuz he/she's car is too high) when i see he want to racing than i start floor cuz im merging another 2-1 lane i didnt rev so high i didnt look at it but i think i shift about 5000-5500 2nd to 3rd(5AT using the SS mode) , i win the yukon about half car length than i saw a crop(bike) coming to us at another lane and i was FXXK and the crop make a u turn and i though oh my god not again but he put over the yukon i though he is going to put me over as well but he didnt, i got lucky i was thinking if i behind the yukon for sure the one got put over is me

ok back to the topic the yukon is not the newest model and i think is a SLE or a SLT with 285hp and i think he got the exhust done cuz is loud i never though those SUV were fast can keep up with my TL (wasnt try so hard,if i did i think is going to have full 1 car length) dose anyone know what is their 0-60 time is ??

All I know, without looking at their numbers, is that they make lots more torque and probably show comparable 0-30 times.

Heck I will sit at a line with just about anything in my awd v8 grand cherokee, torque it up and go, from 0-30 I'm a champ. From 30+ I'm a chump.


I guarantee I could keep myself from passing if I were in my TL, against me in my Jeep. (So long as it doesnt go faster than 30-40 mph)

I had a 01 GMC Yukon XL and it was fun killing guys in cars at the lights. Its only for like first and second gear they are so low they take off quick. You also gotta take into account they are V8's.
