1. There are 2 kits out for the TL already; A-Spec & RJ

2. TL is not available in Japan - so they won't be making many aftermarket parts for the TL. It's a North America exclusive model.

the front of that thing is heaven, best looking front bumper by far... beautiful grille, wonderful hid fog lights, and not to mention a carbon fiber center lip...

hmm im going to try and find out weather or not mugen will actually ever be making it...

as far as the rest of the kit... UGLY without a doubt

 

The side skirts are good IMO, rear bumper so so. Were you able to get in contact with them? Any word on if it will ever be made??

 

wow, you never saw the mugen TL, I saw it in person over at American Honda headquarters, its sexy

 

The front is sexy, especially the fog lights down on the bumper. I want fog lights! stupid canadian TLs only get DRLs. The one thing I really want for the TL is bright yellow fogs down under, too bad there's only been a few ppl who tried to do it and it seems complicated. Also, the rear wing and lip combiniation is pretty cool as well..

fuck, of all the coloUrs they had to go with that ugly beige which thank god is not avaible in canada anymore. the chromers they slapped on there dont go with the overall sport look of the kit, ah well i guess thats what concepts are for

yeah mugen needs to make it, lets see if we can get it done, between the two of us, they could probably work something out if we start a group buy. those xenon fogs are tight as hell too

 

If things go well, there will be a 3rd (4th if you count Mugen) kit coming to market in the next couple months.

I agree, the mugen bumper wouldn't look so bad if it had the center airdamn. I wish the TL had the center airdamn just like the concept car did. Would have been tons better.

Unfortunately we don't have the kind of budget to allow us to test a center opening. Since the TL is a "bottom breather", adding a center opening could conceivably interfere with the proper airflow to the radiator (high and low pressure zones, etc). Then again, it could also drastically improve airflow.

Anyone wanna cut a giant hole in their stock front bumper cover to see how it works?

the front bumper is nice but as for the rest.... ricey, The kit kills the class and luxury of the car. I would just get the cf liip and the hid fogs

 

Are you people serious? That looks horrible! Reminds me of an Accord or a Camry...I was actually sitting at a light the other day looking at an old Camry with it's air dams all across the bottom of it and thinking how crappy it looked vs. the clean look of the TL. Now I understand, to each his own, so maybe one day someone will make a kit for you guys with a large front air dam...

Sorry, not feeling it on any car...just don't like big gaping holes on the front of cars...if you like it, it's all good, but just isn't for me.

How much do you want it? "I'll put $1000 deposit down" or "I'll pay for the tooling however much it costs because I can't live without it"

I'll start reworking on some old designs I have laying around with a center opening and see what you guys think. With the permission of the powers that be, I'll post them up for critique. The worst thing we can possibly do is put out a design I *think* everyone will like, versus one I *know* everyone likes.

feeler posts are ok, but outright selling posts are not, unless you are a vendor, if you have a design you would like us to critique, that is alright, but you cannot sell the kit until you talk to Astroboy, that being said, post some pics!

Hold on there buddy...I like minimal chrome, ie. wheels...I do not like chrome accents (see your TSX pic or the bumper of a 300C)...and there is a big difference between a tasteful wheel design in chrome and a tacky wheel in chrome (or anything else). The Devotions would look good all chrome, this does not.

You know, I'm starting to wonder about you (and a few others)...no chrome wheels, giant gaping holes in the front bumper... Next you'll say you like 3 foot wings and fart cans...

On the fence about the wing...would like to see it painted and from a couple of other angles...the kit's borderline being able to get into the 3rd edition of a famous movie about car racing...

 

I don't know about that front bumper....it looks HUGE!
