04 TL HID designed for all weather?

Has anyone noticed a yellow hue around top edge of the 04 TL's HID headlight beam pattern? This is especially noticeable when aimed at white surfaces. When I 1st saw it, I thought my fogs were on, because they look so much like the output of PIAA plasma-ion yellow 9006's in my 03'TL fog lights.
I've never seen this in HID systems, & wonder whether it's just my car or was the system designed for all weather applications?

I've seen it. Looks pretty cool to me! Haven't sat down yet and tried to figure out the "science" behind the HID lights ...
