What's going on, guys?

Just wondering how everyone's modded their interiors! I'm want to mod my TL, and it doesn't seem worth it to install performance mods, so I figured I'd mod the interior.

What would you guys suggest (besides the obvious upgrading my sound system)? Post pics of you have 'em!

 

Shift knob
Type-S gauge cluster bezel
LED conversion
LED ambience light (footwell, door handle led, cup holders, door pocket)
Tablet mod
Isimple
Headliner and pillars fabric
Door panel fabrics
Vinyl wrap any trim pieces
New seat covers

Not so common on TLs (but common on cars like RSX)
Weight reduction
Racing seats
Nrg steering wheel

Not so common on TL but VIP if that's your style:
Front drink tray
Rear seat drink tray
Window curtain
Neck Pillows
Rear seat pillows
Fusa knot

 

avoid changing any of the electronics. The navi doesnt like to be tampered with. Use OEM style bulbs if you change the color. Dont use LEDS.

and turn the key off before you touch anything. its sensitive.

 

Thanks for the tip! I have the 2004 model which has no navi system. I was considering installing one, but I'm not exactly a mechanic...

 

its been done. So it is possible. Just get a HELM electronic troubleshooting manual. And maybe a service manual. It has all the connections you need to know about. And pinouts. So, you can compare what you have, to what you need.. and make the changes.

 

Check out ebaY. There's an OEM Navi kit that the guy who sells them will also install for a modest fee.

LED dome/courtesy/vanity/trunk/plate lights are easy and worth doing with trusty Philips or Osram bulbs.

Having done another TL with LED button backlights, I'm not sure I like the result. Too bright, can't match bulbs in OEM head unit or roof console.

 

I replaced all my plain interior lights with LEDs-dome, puddle lights, glove box, center console, vanity mirrors. And 35% tint. I also apparently have a not common color combo- SSM, with gray leather and carbon trim. So I'm not going to mess with any of that.

 

I have a vent mounted phone gripper and a phone charger in the power socket.
