I just replaced my center lights, i guess theyre the "parking lights", on my tl because one of them were out. Now lately I've been seeing a couple tl's with just their parking lights on. I tried doing that with my car but the only time I can turn on my parking light is when I turn on the HIDs with it.

So my question is, how can I get the center lights to work on their own with me having to turn on my HIDs? Because they are already two different switches.

 

which center lights are you talking about? :S

 

The center lights you speak of are the foglights. I'm pretty sure that's what you're trying to say here. For the other TL, it's probably the 07-08 which comes with daytime running lights.

 

The DRLs. I have a base model Tl with no fogs :/ but those center lights(DRL) won't turn on unless I turn on my HID. Is there a way I can turn on the DRLs without turning on my HID? Like do I have to disconnect something or get a new lighting system?

What year car do you have. Those center lights on 2004-2006 are fogs and you have to modify the switch and wires to turn them on by themsleves. On 2007-2008, they are DRLS and they are always on by themselves.

 

LOL they're not DRLs if you have to turn on your HIDs to turn them on.
