'04 6MT 47,200 miles
Hi guys, I'm new here. I am looking at a 2004 tl 6MT with 47200 miles for $13900, do you feel this is a good buy and what problems should I look out for, considering it has such low mileage(I'm skeptical) but it has a clean carfax and it is from an acura dealer. A little more of why I am looking at this car. I have 09 accord ex currently and I know its a great car and will get me where I need to go, but its just so lackluster(boring). Thanks for input.
However, my fiance just bought a 15 base 2.4l tlx so I'm in the club.

Save your 14K and buy some hookers and blow, that should liven things up
In all seriousness, that's WAY too much for a car..
You already have a well running '09 car, why would you then go and buy a 5 year older car for that exorbitant amount of money?! Upgrade, don't downgrade!!

While car markets vary from place to place, $14k is too much.
Which is why they pegged it at $13900 because doesn't that sound cheaper? When its only a hundred bucks.
A manual is less common than the automatic but I wouldn't call it rare.
Pure speculation here, but dealer likely overpaid on the trade-in, probably gave 'em $10k. Acura car sales (as oppose to CUV) are weak, so they may have offered more than what the car was worth just to make the sale (and manufacturer incentives may have made up the difference).
If true, $4k profit is a bit much. Over them $9k, settle for $10 and not a penny higher. If not, walk: the 3G TL was a top seller in its day, and most of them are still on the road. Keep looking.

Thanks guys for the input. I didn't choose to get the tl, also they"said" they sold it, but I did get a silver with black int sh-awd tech tlx. It's an upgrade for sure. Just over 400 miles and loving it. I got a new job which justified the new car.
congrat on the purchase, people love low mileage car but that only the car is in collector category. I don't care if there is a 04 with 5k miles after all you still have the 04 TL which plenty more driving around you. it just my .02
congrats on the TLX
