03 TLP vs 4dr SI

Just a small encounter I had on the freeway. This new 4dr Civic Si flew by me going around 80 on the freeway so i decided to catch up. He noticed me and slowed down to 40mph, I dropped it to 2nd in SS and waited for him to jump, as soon as he did I floored it and by the time we hit 80 i had a car and half on him. I shut it down then and he flew by without slowing down. As i took my exit, he was standing there at the light, I drove up gave and just waited for the light to turn green. As soon as it did he went WOT but there was so much traffic that I didn't risk challenging him again. I have an 03 TLP with an intake. It didn’t look like he was modded and he had one passanger while I was alone in my car.

Yea, they are. I guess one passenger in the SI, CAI on his TL, and driving skills are the reasons?

that wasnt my car..... i just found the vid on you tube. Its unfair because the civic has a full car, but it still got whomped on.

Im sure I would destroy a civic si. spinning tires from first to second happens even on accident.
Wet roads, and there is no traction from first to second.

Yeah I think they are. Maybe he was in the wrong gear or something, I slowed down after I hit 80 and he flew by. I'd imagine if it was a driver's error then I'm sure he would've slowed down and ran again but who knows.

that's my bone-stock '00 TL, and i think it was the Si's wheel spin. and i know it wasnt fair, but it was a fun race nevertheless.
