well theres this girl at my school with a black SRT4, and i was thinkin about challenging her to a friendly race, u know jus to get the conversation flowing lol. will i have chance of beating her or am i gonna make an ass of myself?

here are the mods to the SRT:

it has mopar stage 1, AGP adjustable wastegate acuator, XS power big FMIC, perrin short ram intake, mopar short throw shifter w/ polyruthenane shift linkage bushings , MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires, AGP solid motor and tranny mounts and a little bit of appearance stuff on it

I've seen stage 2 and i know they are wicked fast but i really havent had a chance to mess with a stage 1. i know theres a couple of SRT guys on the forum, tell me what you think.

itll be from a 30 roll cause off the line IMO i wont have a chance

bet the booty this way maybe the inspiration will help you win otherwise nope

I think even a stock SRT-4 can smoke us with ease. If I remember correctly, the SRT-4 can do 0-60 in like 5.4 seconds? Im not sure about this, but I'm certain it can do it in less than 6 seconds.

But hey, we can seat 4 people comfortably and we have all the luxury in our cars and we also don't have as much torque steer.

that's funny but sadly it's also true....

Those are bout the same mods I have and she's prolly faster than a stage 2..if you want a chance to win do it from a dig..cuz unless she's running drag radials and traction bars she will have a hard time launching it and will prolly spin 1-3 and you'll be gone. But from a roll she will hook and prolly rip you one. Good luck and let us know if you do it (race..haha).

Ive seen an srt-4 with just a 50 shot of NOS( or at least thats what he claimed) put my friends 02 corvette z06 to shame. If I remember correctly he ran a 11.14 1/4 mile.

I've run against an SRT4 at the 1/4 before (not in my TL) and while I beat him, it was absolutely not because I had a faster car. His RT was ~0.4 seconds slower, and he had a bad launch, but at the finish line he trapped ~103 mph while mine was just 95 mph. this was in my 02 maxima incase your wondering.

He was a stock SRT4, and with a good launch, i would have been beaten badly, probly in the vicinity of 4-6 car lengths. I used to run low 14's w/the maxi-pad, giving you the benefit of the doubt, your TL is probly right on par w/that. If the chick knows how to drive (in my experience, there are not many good girl drivers out there) then she will own you. From a roll, from a stop, highway, anything.
