02Tl Vs 89 5.0 Mustang

ok im on my way home hung over as hell prob. shouldn't but i was cusin all of a sudden i see a dark green 5.0 mustang looked like an 89 lowered and a straight dual exhaust out the back, pull up i look over at him he laugh's and he down shifts and flys off so i say ok why not. im on the interstate and he's doing about 90 so little by little i catch up looking out for cops we get to a patch no cars around and no cops and we floor it i start pulling on him once i pull away i look down and im doing 130mph so i slow down right away and he fly's by i was shaking i know i kinda should have on beat it but it had an 8 in it and it looked like he did something to it but anyway thats another noch on the belt.

02Tl Vs. 08 Jetta

ok so it's about 10 at night im on this 2 lane strip and i'm just driving and a jetta pulls up and 08 with tinted windows i can see his phone light up so i see he's on his cell phone so i pass him and then we get stopped by the next traffic light but theres a car in front of both of us so were next to each other but we each have a car in front so the light turns green the car in front of him goes faster so i go behind him then he pulls in to the open lane i pull behind him and the lane turns into one ahead he pulls in front of the car that was in front of him and im in the right lane we gun it and i blow by him at about 110 miles an hour and make it to the single lane there first. LOVE MY CAR

lol why are you guys so mean, he's new!

Type S has 35hp over the normal TL. It also has different suspension setup, larger wheels, etc.

Either the stang was a high mile tired POS or the driver sucked. I owed a 92 LX 5.0 5 speed back in the mid 90's, bone stock it ran a 14.37@96mph, with a few bolt ons it was a solid 13.9@90-100mph car. My brother had 93 GT convertable with an auto and it was a 15.1-15.2
A 2002 TL-p is high 15 second car at best

I made a mistake in my post and for some reason cannot edit it. The MPH on my 92 LX after modded was 99-100 (not 90-100).

Damn calm down if my english is that horrible don't read it. I have a 02 tl-p 5at. The 5.0 looked worked it was lowered and had straight pipes. The guy seemed to know how to drive he was weaving in and out of traffic but i have no clue.

Sounds like a ricer that unfortunately bought an American car. It's not surprising his "modded" car is slower than stock.

Thats funny in your other thread you mentioned you did race him from a dig and he put 2 cars on you????

Im guessing his car is a manual and he does not know how to drive it, a stock 2003 Mustang GT is good for well into the 14's with an auto and bottom 14's to high 13's with a good driver in a manual car. A base TL is very high 14's at best
