My friend has been asking me to race him for a while now. We're both stock and I drove his car once by my TLS feels stronger. Maybe cuz I'm older with higher miles. Anyone ever race each other or know of a race? Couldn't find anything in Search window.

tl-s 0-60 in 6.2. 04-05 TL AT 0-60 is 6.4, you should be able to edge him out.

it should b pretty even no edging out any1 if both get good launches...bc power to weight ratio should b simialr since one has only 10 HP more but is alos heavier.

I raced my brother's '05 TL 6-speed. My mods are in the signature, and my brother's car had AEM CAI and Comptech RSB at the time. We were dead even.

I almost had a chance to see his car . Was supposed to go out to MI to visit some family and if possible meet up with him. I would've loved to test drove it and see if it's worth spending ALL that cash for ALL of those mods.

Well, to my defense, my car seems to be very susceptible to heat and it was scorching hot that day. I could feel my car bogging hard.

Just the other night when it was 63 degrees out, I ran dead even with a 13.7-second SRT-4. My best run has been 14.5@99 so far; I'm either spinning or bogging off the line and it's driving me insane.

2003TL-S

Pretty much a dead even race. Raced one the other week twice from stop lights. 1st time I pulled a nose until I hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 (gate shifting), whoops!! Needless to say I didn't win. The second we were dead even until I hit third and pulled a quarter to half car to 90. So yeah it is a very even race.
