Yes, you can do it. So easy, you just need the part - no need for a DIY - I even did it without nay help.

What you do is buy from your dealer the Left Rear Door Lock Cover. Make sure you order the color for your car. It should cost between $10 - $15.

Link below is the parts list. On this list it is Item #33. Order that part number.

If you ever need to, just pop the cover off to access the Keyhole.

If you still didn't noticed how to remove the little cap(on your car) just open the driver's door, and pull the handle as far as you can bend your head between the handle and the little cap, you're gonna see a little clip that old the part in place on a metal plate (where the key hole is) just use a precision flat screw driver to unclip that little clip. Then just put the parts with no hole by placing it in place....you should hear a little CLICK! lol

Want some pictures LOL! ??

Thats the easiest mod on a TL, I thought changin the interior leds was EASY, but THIS ONE is the easiest BY FAR!!

Someone got an easier mod ? lol

I love this mod! When I went to pick up my part from the dealer the service manager told me these pieces are covered under warranty. When I showed him my real reason for ordering it, he was amazed as he also has a TL and never thought of doing this. It took me all but 3 minutes in the dealer parking lot to do this mod.

Interior lights easy? Bullshit, lol! Those map light covers are boogers to get them back in the right place. I still can't get the damn rear cover off the trunk light. If you have any ideas PM me. I don't want to hijack the thread!
