It's interesting that we are all getting a range of prices from them. I called Norm Reeves yesterday and spoke with David in parts and got $294 shipped. I had mentioned that people on this board had gotten it for $249 with no luck. Would you also be able to tell me and others here what is going on. I hope it wasn't a case of dylexia ! I would really appreciate it. I am also interested in the whole underbody kit also. I read it mentioned for $750 shipped. I would jump at it now if I can have it all for $1k.

It was mentioned here on the boards a few days ago. Someone said that they got quotees of $750 for the kit and $250 for the lip spoiler from Norm Reeves Acura in CA. However, I was unable to get that price when I called and spoke with David in parts. However, most dealers are willing to sell it for $800 and you may get them to throw in free shipping with some barginning.

389 is not bad IMO, i called my local dealers and they wanted to charge close to MSRP, i.e. 500. One could buy the spoiler(s) from a dealer on ebay, but you can't be 100% they are dealers and I guess this is more safe, because we are sponsored by c-c-c.net and we can openly dispute if there was an issue. I ordered my wing spoiler today from the group buy, I'll let everyone know how it goes.

LOL... $249 is almost below their cost...no way they'll sell to customers near this price... too much overhead to recover. I know this b/c I work with a dealer very closely, so I have an idea on what their costs are. Now... if those were our costs it we could do it cheaper... but we're not a dealer, so Acura doesn't go near that low for us.

FYI, Norm Reeves is the dealer we were asked to beat on pricing.... theirs is $294 and ours is $292 (on the lip spoiler), plus you're supporting the board instead of a random Acura dealer. I mean, we're not making a penny on this (actually losing a tad on each order), just to get you this price.... so if you want to buy, then buy (that's why we did this), but if you don't, then don't.... no need to make up prices and try to hijack the thread......

PeterUbers - democracy really isn't an issue since this is a privately owned board. However, I don't think Astro was saying no comments, I believe his intention was to prevent this thread from being hijacked and to keep it in the Black Market or other appropriate forum... that's all .....

Hey everyone. Can I have details on the group buy opportunity? I hoipe I didn't miss it out!

Also I want to lower my TL. I thought about HR racing, drops about 2 inches.. It will be rough ride, but I don't really care. It will stick... But I get the impression that no manufacturer of anything, anywhere, recognizes the new TL. I don't know if the HR racing spring are for the 04 or if they simply didn't realize that the car changed.

What are options to lower the TL? What is up with the group buy?

Sorry to come off as being someone who may be making up prices. I got it off a thread here that someone else has posted and had doubts myself about that price also. I definitely want to support the board and will jump in for the GB. And I will definitely do it again when you guys get it together for the rest of the body kit. I love the posts here and would have known very little about the car and might have been ripped off had this forum not existed.

How does this support them exactly? I dont understand...if they are losing money on each transaction seems like not ordering would help more then ordering. IMHO.

BTW...I am in total support of the group buy and appreciate you guys going above and beyond just to save some bucks for everyone on here.

FYI, we just got a bunch of tracking numbers today, and some have already been delivered... so, like the confirmation email states, you may get the item before you get a tracking number... but they are banging them out rather quickly. I think almost all are out of the orders we've processed so far!!
