$599 Midlands Honda-timing belt deal (Columbia, SC)

I wish i was a little closer to needing this service but 599 is a great deal for Honda service and it says includes water pump and includes Acura.

Awesome price. If I were due, it'd easily be worth the 90 minute drive.

Heck. I'm about 2000 miles from being at the timing belt interval. Sadly, it is almost that far for me to get to that dealer. Darn......
I'd better try and get on local Honda dealers mailing/email list.

....

So you're saying you'd be due when you got there?

I don't see the problem.

Exactly. Well worth the drive and gas for a least a few hours away. Just make an appointment ahead of time so you know you can get serviced for sure.

Hey James, glad to see a few board people are in the SE.

I am at 70 right now but only put ~10 a year on mine so I am still a good 2 years away from needing this service. Having said that..it is still tempting...almost like saving 50% off on something you will need just not yet.

I can say that Midlands is about as nice and trustworthy a dealership I have seen here. The Acura dealership is a stealership for sure by comparison.

Honda of Columbia will try to match that too I hear. They also have a 20 year Acura Tech in the shop too.

Which Acura dealer. The one in Ardmore told me a hell of a lot more than that.

Seems like Honda dealers is the way to go. Next February I will be at Hamilton Honda waiting to get mine done.

^ the one in WC.. maybe it was 799.. I actually got the timing belt done in the Martin Main Line Honda for like 400.. I had a coupon that I used.. I signed up for their monthly coupons and it was either a service or timing belt coupon that took off $100 of the 499

Wow, this was kind of necro bumped. Anyways, when I was shopping for my service Midlands Honda would NOT do it for $599. Quoted me $899 for the service.

I prefer to deal with Honda of Columbia. Every time I needed a part for my TL they seem to be the only Honda/Acura dealer that actually has it in stock.

I wonder if Hendrick Honda in Easley would do that service at that price? I'm in the Clemson area as well. You should come to the CSCC autocrosses!

I'll give them a call when I start looking at getting the service done. I'm at 90K on my 08TL.
