$32,500 for an 06 tl

I got a quote for a 2006 TL with navi 6mt for 32,500 + tax and no destination charges!! I know this wholesale guy that sells cars for cheap. He said that price is less than what the dealers pay. My guy was reffered to my from a reliable source so I know he is good for it. I know Vector is setting up a group buy from a dealership. I can talk to him on a group buy, I think he should be cheaper. I'm going to pm vector to let him know.

Wow, I think that's a good price. I would like to get one as well if your guy can manage a purchase from AZ. Lemme know.

or I can always drive it and break it in as I drive it . of course only if it's worth it with all the rising gas prices and airline ticket and stuff

Well what are you really getting extra for the 06. Is it even worth an extra 125?

The newer model year alone is worth more than that at resale. I would easily pay that much extra for an 06 over an 05....

were you able to get a good deal on it? Is there anything different about the stereo, like an aux button or anything for the upcomin ipod connection in the glovebox?

They had the 2006 TL's in the Milwaukee area for about two weeks now. The MSRP is at $35,940.00 Vs the 2005 at $35,100. Quite a jump in price ... $840.00. A lot of money for a Tire pressure monitor feature that was added for 2006. Hoping there is more to the 2006 then that. I'm looking to get one soon, but looks like 2005 might be the better deal.

oops ... forgot the destination charge on the 2005 which makes it $35,670 MSRP, for an increase of $270.00. Much better!

$250 is worth it for the resale value alone

yeah, but if you were to pick one up in Cali for 31700 then it is quite a bit of difference. That's what got me torn up

Don't forget the 2006 has a longer powertrain warranty than the 2005. 6yrs/70K miles vs 4yrs/50K miles.

I'm ready to order, I'd have to pay shipping charges to Houston, but I'm in.

What more have you learned?
