Navigation question

2018 RLX, When I use my car Navigation, not so often, I get error messages all the times, cannot connect to Acura servers.
How do I get rid of it permanently?

I'm a little confused because in the 2018 RLX the navigation system doesn't talk to any server, as the info is based on the SW in the car and the GPS signal. That's one of the downsides of that older nav system in that it doesn't have integration outside the car. Have you recently tried a navigation update, and if so was it successful? I'm also wondering whether there's a relationship to AcuraLink since that feature was removed in July from the RLX altogether....

I had Acuralink on my 18 RLX and used my smartphone to send addresses. I haven't used my navi system and stopped taking my RLX out of town because of Acura dropping Acuralink (don't really need navi in my hometown). The smartphone app no longer works; but, I don't think Acuralink is disabled in the RLX?

Interestingly, while driving the wife's RLX yesterday, the Nav screen had the AcuraLink box on the screen greyed out. So not sure what role AcuraLink plays, and we've not tried to use the navigation to plot a trip - rather just watched it show our location while driving.....
