Some moron scratch my rear spoiler and bumper at Costco
I was parked next to cart return so best guess is some idiot wasn't careful returning their cart and bumped into my car.
Luckily the scratches were very minor and easily removed with Scratch-X. PPF took most of the scratches, saved my paint.

Whoo Hoo! The PPF to the rescue! So glad I wrapped my RLX in PPF for that very reason.

It amazes me how inconsiderate people can be about returning their carts. Saw one lady leaving her cart right next to my car. I told her I don't appreciate her doing that and may cause major damage to my door. The idiot just said she don't care and walked away

This same thing happened to me in a Walmart parking lot years ago. I came out and the entire front bumper of my car had a scratch on it. Looked like someone had tried to move a cart between my car and the one which was parked in front of me. Was able to get Walmart mgmt to look at the video footage they have rolling. Turns out it was one of their own employees who was on a cart recovery mission. They reluctantly paid for the fix once the insurance company got involved.

Parking lots are the pits. You can park a mile from the store, all alone. When you come out, someone is parked right on top of you. I feel you. It is frustrating as hell. But not a lot you can do about it, except don't drive your good stuff to places like that. But if you are like me, all of my rides are the good stuff. People just need to show some respect. Not much of that out there these days unfortunately.

Moose, now that you've mentioned it, I think it was the Costco employee that caused my scratches. I parked next to cart return area and saw an employee running around gathering carts. I bet while maneuvering the carts back, he may have scratch my rear bumper and spoiler, it was sticking out a little bit. The scratches were several feet long with grey paint transfer like from shopping carts brushing against it. Wish I had camera recording on the car. I usually have no problems Costco parking stalls because they're so wide, but now will not park close to cart return areas again.

Argh! There are more scratches on both rear doors and rear quarters. Damn Costco employee must have push bunch of carts into my car! All very minor and easily removed, thank goodness no dents.

So, a Moose hit a deer?

Thanks. Deer on the highway (and in neighborhoods) are not uncommon in my part of the world in Texas. You see carcasses here and there which mean damaged vehicles.

The most tension I have ever felt while driving was driving on an isolated country road at night after passing an "warning animal crossing" sign. The RLX's jewel-eye headlights/ high beams/ fog lights were a god-send as they lit up not only the road but also the areas beside the road as I drove with my foot hovering just above the brake pedal.

The experience that Moose66 and so many others have gone through, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. So glad you came out of it okay.
