Turned in the '14 RLX
Turned in the '14 RLX
End of lease time. The thoroughly roughed up rims were covered by the damage allowance. ( They send them out for buffing and refinishing ). Since there was no '16 RLX PAWS available in New England, I picked up a '17 RDX AWD Adv. More appropriate for this climate anyway.
I will miss some of the features of the RLX, but not the TSB chase !
Good luck.

Probably 2019 model year, peeked in 2018.
I guess that might work for him. :-)
I don't think they're in a rush for a new Legend type of vehicle.
They don't see the market, and they just throw a few at us to keep us very few old time fans from going somewhere else, I think.
I keep going back to how Saiyama was configured for this car. They never set up to mass produce.
If they really meant business, it'd be a USDM car.

Enjoy the ride! I would love an RDX as a stablemate for the RLX.
The RDX is not a bad choice, is the right size for a lot of people, and it looks nice for a SUV. Were I to stay with Acura after my current lease expires, though, I'd probably lean toward a MDX Sport Hybrid.

I anticipate the MDX SH to be more available than the RLX SH. It will be built in the USA and does not have to share brand, and multiple market configurations further restricted by the Sayama production capabilities. The MDX popularity alone is a larger market than the RLX, so I would expect higher volume production.
