Sports Hybrid differences

I am shopping around for a 2014 sports hybrid. What are the differences between the tech and advanced package on the sports hybrid? I am wondering if it is worth waiting until I find an advanced or stick to the tech package since it seems it is easier to find.

You and I are doing the same thing (cough cough Competing... cough cough...).

I have a TLX currently and I can tell you the technology package is different on that vs. RLX SH:

RLX SH does NOT have LKAS w/ tech pkg;
RLX SH does NOT have cross-traffic monitor alert.

I was under the assumption they did, as my TLX is one year newer (2015), but...nope.

Besides comparing content of different models, the 2014 RLX content was determined with launch in 2013 before AcuraWatch+ was available. The 2016+ RLX models only have 2 trims - Tech and Advance. Both have AcuraWatch+ with adds, BSM, LKAS, RDM, to the AcuraWatch Suite (both trim levels). The Advance adds Parking Sensors (f & r) w/ Cross Traffic Alert, power folding side mirrors, rear electric window shade w/ manual side shades, front heated & ventilated seats, rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, 2 way remote start, Krell audio, & rear footwell lighting over the Tech trim.

It's been a bit hard finding a white with black interior SH advance, I have only found 1 white SH but with tan interior. So the difference between 2014 and 2016 is remote start and AcuraWatch +. Well my search and wait continues.

From what I remember, that combination -white exterior, with ebony interior- is not offered on the US RLX P-AWS or Sport Hybrid.

My current PWS is white with ebony interior. Perhaps the Sport Hybrid does not offer that?

Sorry I believe its still the same, if you are talking about the color combination. Pay attention to the asterisk:

Oh I see the 2017 has that option. Well what a disappointment, I'll have to think about that one. The ebony looks so clean.

If you look at that White/Tan one up in Ohio, make sure they check for signs of rust/corrosion on underbody.

Unfortunately the 2017 RLX Advanced does not have that color combination either......

In Canada, the 2015 RLX SH Elite (Advance) is available in white with black leather. I might know this as a fact

I kept an eye out on that one, it does have low miles but I don't know if I can do seacoast interior. My in-laws have a new MDX with barely 5k miles on it and they wear blue jeans. The dye on the jeans has made the left side of his driver seat blue. I cleaned it with leather cleaner but it came back. I don't want to deal with that headache.

Man so lucky, I actually bought a Canadian MDX last week. It had headlight washers, US models don't have that option. I like a lot of options Canada gets.

There is a 2017 SH in transit to a local dealer here in Tampa that is white over black.

It would not be the first time Acura published incorrect information, nor the dealer, nor me.
