SH-RLX in the Rain

thinking someone on here may know bit or two about this over the last week or so (ahem Tampa)

I believe a car's performance in the rain is primarily a function of the tires it is wearing. That said, I've driven the Sport Hybrid in the rain a few times (including getting caught in a major thunderstorm on the way home from the golf course) and my impressions can be summed up in a word - uneventful. The OEM Michelins did a great job and the SHAWD left me feeling in control the entire time.

I agree with hondamore. I've driven the car in torrential downpours and the car has remained planted. The tires and SH-AWD keep the car nice and stable.

I like hondamore's term, "uneventful". That's an accurate description.

my post was more to get a response from Tampa based on the rains there

I've heard that it actually rains in other places too.

I knew you were trolling.

But the Legend does very well in the rain...including flood-inducing torrential monsoons that we had here in the country a week ago.

Of course, your ACC and LKAS turns itself off with a warning, but that's expected.

As far as actual drivability, wiper performance, traction...it's great. :-)

It actually rained on my SoCal commute yesterday. The rain sensing wipers were fun to play with. I can't say too much on the handling. It seems everyone on the 405 was confused by the wet stuff falling from the sky so traffic was stopped almost until it stopped raining.
