So Honda's sales figures for February show 16 RLX's sold.... for a car that doesn't go on sale until 15 Mar? Oh well... not too bad for a car that you can't buy. Still sold 11 RL's.

Poor TL and TSX getting killed, they need the TLX ASAP.

 

Acura very likely considers all those demos RLX's, that are shown to the press and displayed in flagship city showrooms, as sold units.

 

Why would you say that?

 

For a brand new car model that doesn't go on sale until 15 Mar, how else can explain the American Honda sales figure reporting that 16 RLX's have been sold back in February ?

 

Easy. Paperwork done. VIN tagged for delivery. Transaction executed on delivery.

Maybe employee purchase program or for executives or something like that?

 

Interesting how a car that is not officially on sale yet has already outsold the RL.

 

My dealer tried to get me in a lease on one of the two they have in stock last week. Was kind of wondering how they would do that since it wasn't supposed to be available yet, but since I'm not ready to get a new car yet, I didn't bother to find out...
