Corey or Colin, RV and MF for an Advance PAWS for 12k/year? Leaning this way.

I'm thinking 2014. As for the low residual, if I can negotiate purchasing price for an Advance to $49k as others are seeing, and use that as a starting point, then the resulting lease will be a decent deal.
Want to act while the getting's good. I've been crunching mileage and range numbers for the way I use the car and the PAWS maybe makes more sense for me, especially at these prices. Still thinking.

Yes, but the rate is correspondingly low and this is for '14s over a year after their release.
Everyone know how they got "behind" the exchange rate with the last gen TSX, Fit and CR-Z. If they planned the MSRP to turn a profit around an exchange rate of 80 yen and it's currently at 100, they can give back money and still make a profit at the manufacturing level.

Ok then. Acura must be a total failure. Everybody leave the forum.

Not a total failure, just unable to figure out the high end sedan market. If they would out SH-AWD I might be convinced to try one especially at these discounts. I do think they have a good formula with the TLX, very eager to check it out.

Saw an article on WSJ site that the average time to move an RLX off the lot is 135 days. Only two other cars had worse move rates. That being said, those in the market would do well to look for dealers in their vicinity with the largest inventory numbers for the best deals. I know I will if I decide to look at RLX further.

A total failure ?
For the SUV line : NO, not at all.
For the sedan line : YES.
That's why everybody should remain on the forum, and tell Acura what customers really want in terms of luxury sedans; especially those previous Acura sedan owners who have given up with Acura and moved onto other brand's luxury sedans.
If Acura does listen, rectifies it's sedan-line deficiencies, and starts building luxury sedans that customers REALLY want; then it's sedan line will rise like a "Phoenix out of the ashes", and CAN become a highly desirable luxury sedan brand with highly sought after sedan products.

I do think the TLX will help them turn the sedan market around. Hopefully the new regime is huddling and revisiting what to do,at the high end with the RLX. The ILX should get improvements with beefier engine and hopefully some new tech. The RLX just needs some styling touch ups and true SH-AWD. It will take a few gens of the RLX to really crack the market.

If I recall, didn't the ZDX have a similar time on the lot of well over 100 days as well?

I feel this will be the last gen of the Legend/RL/RLX. A renaming of the model will come next time around with no ties to the former. Acura will have a mid/large sedan, and that won't be the TLX.

The RLX is already in its 3rd gen. If the RLX doesn't do well by this gen, then there is not much hope IMHO. The RL already had 2 gens to make it right, and this is the 3rd time around. Compare the 3G TL vs the 3G RL. Big difference, even though the RLX is never meant to be a volume seller, its sales still lack behind the 5 series, LS, etc...
I don't think the RLX will last nine years, however. I think it'll be lucky to last 4-5 model years.
I personally think that if Acura stole some designers from Audi to make the wrapper of all that new tech sexy-looking, that would help sales somewhat, or at least get the car noticed more.
Again, this is a different topic for a different thread....
