Looks to be a bit of a teaser, for a full-length video. However, fully self driving cars are no longer in the distant future, hopefully not for Honda. If I can recall, Google did something similar a few years prior, with a Lexus RX. Now TSLA has moved onto fully self-driving Model S' on the freeway. Let's see what Honda has in store, come the near future.

 

Yes that was announced about the same time the new HondaWatch / AcuraWatch packages were announced (and likely part of the early R&D for the autonomous car).

They are coming. But I fear what they will do to those of us who still like to operate a motor vehicle. That said I have easily slipped into liking AcuraWatch, which I rejected in the past. I think Audi and BMW are leading in this but MB, Volvo, and several others are showing off autonomous technology. Audi has been working with USF here in Tampa studying autonomy and we have permitted Audis on the roads here in Tampa. I call them 'zombie-mobiles'.
