Rare occurrence

Came out from shopping and see two unicorns in the lot - had to take a pic. Mine is the white one…

I think I’ve only seen 3-4 RL/RLXs from all generations in my home town in the last +3 years. Only on an Acura lot back in 2019 was the last time I’ve seen +2 RLXs side by side. It is like seeing two full moons in a month seeing two RLXs together.

I've never seen another RLX in the wild but I have seen a couple of RL's around including my 2005 RL that I traded in when I got my RLX.

Seeing two RLX Sport Hybrids together is the ultimate rare occurrence and may cause a rift in the space/time continuum. If Limelight goes missing, we'll have to look for him in the old west or buying almanacs in the future.

I’ve seen only 3 RLX in total in the wild. I also like the small club. But the 2 I see quite often: a gray one & a black one. Most of my co workers think I drive a TLX.

I've seen more NSXs (NA1/NA2/NC1) in the wild, than I have RLX SH together. We own rare beasts...

In my area I have seen 3-4 RLXs in the wild, all of them were 2018+ facelifted models…people definitely holding on to their niche unique Acura

Had a black RLX next to my SH in the club lot yesterday. Sorry, no pics.

In my town of only about 25k people, there are two black RLX SH's around - and we live about 1/2 mile apart on the same street - and their second car is an MDX. ;-)

I very rarely see RLX’s out there. I was visiting family in metro NYC over Thanksgiving and had a real funny situation occur while fueling my 2020 RLX. The first shock was seeing $6.07 a gallon on the pump for premium and the 2nd more pleasant surprise was a young guy who came running over gushing over my Fathom Blue RLX. He is a porter for a local car dealer up the street who happens to be a big Acura enthusiast. He owns a TSX wagon. Besides telling me how much he loved my RLX, he told me how thrilled he was to see one as they are so rare. I do occasionally get compliments on my RLX, but this is the first time I had someone, especially under the age of 50, actually gush over the car as if it were a rare classic Ferrari!

That is one of the top things I really like about the RLX is when people seem to really like seeing the RLX in person. Total strangers will come up to me to compliment it and I can see folks turning their heads to look at the RLX when driving. Very rarely got this with my 4 other Acura's. I put the RLX the 2nd best vehicle from Acura (below the NSX) for turning heads from folks that remember the days of sedans being king of the roads.

I have the perception that the RLX gets much greater respect and admiration now than when they were in production as a current model.

The TSX wagon is another unicorn, in my opinion; hope the kid hangs onto it. He sounds like he is for real.
