The combination of direct injection and gearing makes the 310hp in the RLX feel like more. I've had several V8's with over 400hp and this car has more than enough grunt.

I haven't really pushed it yet, as I have only about 250 miles on the odo, but I did a little downshift acceleration from 40mph today and it made the wife scramble for the grab handle!

Feels good.

Yes, the car does feel like more than the advertised HP/torque. No complaints from me. Try the Sport mode.
