Wow that's a beautiful S2000, how much did you get it for?

It's more than I wanted to pay, but outside of some cosmetic issues, it's in really good shape and the price is in line with, or maybe even a bit lower than, the current market. In any case, once I fix the cosmetic items, it will easily appreciate in value--Honda isn't making any S2000s again anytime soon.

I forget about the RLX. You've got one hell of a fun stable of cars Bob!

I love your new addition to the stable, neuronbob. If current trends continue, you could be sitting on a goldmine down the road if you ever decide to sell any of your unicorns. If you ever get the "you bought ANOTHER car" look from your wife, please feel free to tell her that.

Haha True, thats why I got one, the same reason people bought Acura back in the day too or even now, KDM is the new JDM
In case you meant quality, please sit in one and drive one and you will notice how good the quality is.

Well since everyone is posting their butts, I'll throw mine up
I negotiated to have spoiler, splash guard, cargo net, door cup PPF, door edge PPF, and Rockledge shock sensor included and installed into my $43495 deal. Not a bad deal I think, though the dealer raped me on my trade-in. My RLX-SH too was previously owned but the guy only drove 4200 miles. MINTY when I picked her up. Some very minor scratches on rear passenger door that I buffed out otherwise she looks, drives and smells like a brand new car. After more than 6 months ownership, I've barely put on 1700 miles. Got nowhere to go with Covid restrictions. Hope to take her on long road-trips this summer up California coast.

I drove my NSX more miles than any other car this year! Drove to Arizona for NSXPO and met @Ken1997TL in person! And this is despite two long road trips in my RLX SH. Now I’m thinking about trading out my CTS-V wagon for a NC1 NSX. (Smack me, please, don’t let me do this, I’m only tempted because my favorite spec has shown up for sale close to me, and there’s a Type S at my local dealership.)
Sweet! Glad they are still out there.

PS I passed through 25k miles on my RLX SH not long ago. Been an enjoyable daily driver. I’ve had zero issues with it other than a prematurely wearing steering wheel.

Do you use hand lotion? That may be the culprit for some interior trim premature wear. I am at 70k miles on my 2020 RLX and light grey leather wheel looks new. I occasionally wipe it with Griots Garage Interior cleaner and a microfiber towel…..same for the leather seats
20 years ago I had a new VW Golf and VW blamed peeling interior skin on hand lotion oils…..
VW lots of issues in 24 mos and 60k miles. RLX 28 months and 70k miles Zero issues.

the NC1 will be around and you'll be able to snag one whenever...
you let a manual wagon v go and you will be kicking yourself in the ass.
Drive it for a few days and see how you feel. NC1 is a bad MOFO...for sure...
but you already have manual S2000, manual boosted NSX and a daily smooth economical but quick RLX with an auto...
the one that doesn't fit that gives you a different driving experience is the V...do not get rid of it.

A couple of recent pictures. Last night as I was having the car valeted for a Cavs game (fear not, they moved it only ten feet and caused no damage). iPhone image completely saturated the lights, but rest of image is pretty decent in the dark.
Last picture is a magnet I attached for my son’s driving lessons. I’ve had to shut off the HUD when he drives and I wish I could shut off the camera to teach him to back up. I do switch out of 360 cam mode for him, at least.
Still enjoying driving this car, one of the last of its kind, a big, powerful executive sedan.

We still enjoy driving our 18 RLX Sport Hybrid with a little under 25,000 miles after 3 years of ownership. My son doesn't like to drive the RLX hybrid or MDX hybrid because it is technology overload for him. Weird coming from that generation that never knew a time without the internet/computers, mobile phone/smartphones, or computer controlled everything. Learning to drive with a manual transmission was probably the best thing ever back in the early 80s (4 on the floor to 3 on the column).
Planning my first long weekend road trip with the RLX to Las Vegas to meet up with our son flying in from Washington in February (take the da wifey and son's girlfriend to a concert). Took the RLX in for its 1st alignment and it needed some adjustment. Really hard to feel alignment issues with our RLX/MDX with mostly 25-50 mph city speeds and using LKAS/RDM on short hwy runs since December of 2019. I would switch to the MDX if the weather looks bad in Flagstaff on the trip.

I haven’t posted an update in quite a while.
I’m just a couple hundred miles short of 30k now. We’ve had a long run of warm weather with clear skies, and so have been rotating my fun cars on a daily basis lately.
Really, nothing to report. Only new issue I have is rock chips, this paint is thin.
Otherwise, still fun to drive. Have gotten the itch for a new DD again, as I do every couple of years, but am not in a hurry to swap out as I am enjoying my Sport Hybrid. Besides, there are very few largish sedans left I could swap out for. Have thought about the TLX Type S MMC if it comes with Advance features, but local dealers are still asking over MSRP, and that tiny back seat… I even thought about downgrading to an Integra Type S, but I’d lose all my RLX features other than the HUD…back seat is nice and large….but no climate vents in the rear? Family would chew me a new one for that, LOL.
I cleaned out the Seacoast interior with a Magic Eraser, used gently, and the interior is back to sparkly white (the attached picture has lighting issues, but trust me when I say the seat looks like new in person). I then used leather conditioner. I am told that the ME is abrasive, though, and so have invested in a better leather cleaner. Still mulling over what to do about my steering wheel. Maybe leather paint until I can get it to a professional?
With a 2G TL. I can hardly believe it’s been 21 years since I bought mine.
Sparkly clean
Hand sanitizer is destructive

You think it would contrast too much if you swapped the exterior of the steering wheel with the ebony one? I love the RLX red; but, figured the seacoast interior would be very hard to maintain compared to ebony or graystone. I could only find a 2018 model year RLXs with the ebony interior and all other 19 & 20 red RLXs had seacoast when I was looking. It can feel like I'm looking out a cave like in my RLX ebony interior with the dark window tint. I was lucky my 18 RLX was a low miles CPO.

I ordinarily prefer black interiors. However, the Seacoast looks great in person. I do have to spend more time cleaning it than I would black, and that is a disadvantage.
I think the black steering wheel would probably clash, even though the dash trim is black. I’d have to think hard on that. We’ll see…

es. Here is a pic for reference. It cost me a limb to do it but i had to get rid of the seacoast wheel.

@Jejo Can you take a wider shot of your dash? That will give me a better view of how well it matches. Looks OK so far.
How simple is the swap? Where and how much did you find the wheel for?
Thanks!

If a flagship sedan does occur, I'm expecting it to be all electric. We'll see! Maybe they'll even bring back the Legend name in the USA.
Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the Limo, I mean, my Sport Hybrid.

…and the prodigal son leaves again
I sold my Sport Hybrid on Monday. I put just under 24k miles on it and it had just under 31k miles at sale. I used the proceeds for a hefty down payment on my new daily driver, a Performance Red Pearl Integra Type S. Manual transmission, crackles and pops, a back seat comparable in size to the Sport Hybrid, and a hatchback were sure winners to me. I love the Sport Hybrid and I’m not completely leaving the forum. I will miss my 360 degree cameras, however! This spoiled me so much!
in the meantime, I’ll be enjoying rowing my own gears in a nice, light, tossable car.

Excellent pick up!
I really like the Integra Type-S with 6MT compared to the regular Integra with the 1.5T w/ or w/o the CVT or the TLX Type-S. I've always been a sucker for 5 door hatches because of the added utility compared to a sedan (probably the reason I drive the MDX and the wife has the RLX).

Congrats on the new Integra Type S, neuronbob.
I drove exclusively manual transmissions from age 18 to 45 when I got my '05 RL and now my RLX Sport Hybrid. While I do miss "rowing my own gears" from time to time, my advancing years have made me enjoy the more relaxing driving experience that an automatic provides, especially in heavy traffic. In addition, 40 some years of playing hockey means that my aching knees wouldn't enjoy depressing a clutch repeatedly.
So, for now, I will have to relive my youth vicariously though you, Bob. Do visit from time to time with detailed descriptions of your new driving experience.

It was the 2 - 2 1/2 hours one-way commuter traffic (40 mins w/ no traffic) and hilly downtown streets of Seattle that made me switch from MT Accord to AT Accord in the early 90s. Not sure if I would go back to MT or regular AT after experiencing 7DCT in my RLX and MDX hybrids? Just having my transmission service price cut by 1/2 and no transfer case compared to my sh-awd 5/6 ATs is worth the upgrade to DCT.
I wonder how the Integra Type-S would sell if it had a 7DCT (without the sh-awd hybrid tech). The RLX 7DCT seemed to handle power of the 3.5L DI 310hp/273tq+ 47hp/109tq 7DCT internal electric motor without any issues.

DCT + K20C would be AMAZING. I'd still do manual, but a DCT would open up sales possibilities.
This shifter is super easy to use. I live in a fairly hilly area and hill start assist is helpful. The downshift assist would help in heavy traffic.

When I run an Edmunds "what's my car worth" exercise on my '19 MDX Advance with only 18k miles, they offer me like $35k - essentially what the private value is. When I run the same on my '18 RLX SH Advance with only 17k miles, it gives me a "range" of values that goes from high $20k's to low $30k's, largely because they really don't see many (if any) RLX's. Would you mind sharing the general amount they gave you based on the "range" of values from Edmunds/Carmax?
Congrats on the Integra!

I waiting to see if Acura changes their mind and brings back hybrids for the next gen of all new models (or even Honda like the Passport, Pilot, or Ridgeline). I would really go for a +2025 4th Gen RDX Sport Hybrid or PHEV. It is range anxiety with the ZDX BEV puts me on the fence going with a BEV. I don't want to spend and extra $30,000-$40,000 for the ZDX after trading in my RLX. I only drive less than 5000 miles per year with my RLX.
