RLX Tech package. The build is April 2013, but still brand new. Is it from the earlier batch that was more prone to having problems?
Getting a good price, about $40k plus title.

My Advanced was built in 05/13 and is number #3047 on the build list. The last 4 digits of yhe VIN will tell you exaclty where it sits in the build order.

I've exhibited just about every TSB listed, and then some. Of which one of the TSB's didnt fix the issue (AC moan), and Acura still hasnt released an updated TSB to address it correctly. So if you ask me, I would stay away from it and at the very least wait till the 2015 models start coming down in price.

Ultimately it's your choice. Just feedback based on your question and my experience thus far.

Good luck.

I am surprised that a dealer still has what is at least a two year old car they never sold. How many miles show on the odometer? There must be some reason they still have the car. It cost the dealer plenty to keep a car for 2 years.

For what it is worth, a new 2016 Tech with a few new features and first year bugs fixed shows an average price on Edmunds of $46,100. If you can afford the extra $6k, I think a 2016 is a better value. I would think you should be able to negotiate a better price for a two year old car, even if it is "new". Just my

It's a steal. If you want to save serious money, do it. However, a 2016 PAWS for only a few extra k is better, especially if you intend to keep it for a long time. Further, you must make sure all TSBs are taken care of so you can just enjoy the car.

I purchased my used 2014 RLX Tech for $36k. I paid cash because it's the last car I intend to buy for a long time.

Thanks to the advise of the forums members I had all the available Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) addressed. I was not even aware of them, including 3 outstanding safety recalls, prior to making my purchase.

However, today the car runs like a dream, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
