But I am very glad to be seeing other color RLX Hybrid, and that they've finally retired that damned Pomegranate pre-production car that was the only one anybody had for the longest time.
I've seen a Silver Moon and a Gilded Pewter so far, plus the damned poor Pomegranate that's probably worked to pieces by now, poor thing.

Colors
The hybrid will have the same color options: 4 metallic & 3 pearl (does anyone know the difference? Does metallic mean more glitter ... ?) I do hope that they will have more combinations like the option of ebony interior and white exterior on the advance:

Exterior Colors
The 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid is available in 7 exterior colors, including 4 metallic and 3 pearl colors. All colors have a strong character, offering expressive contrasts that compliment the RLX’s body-panel curves and angles, while also exhibiting a smart luxury appearance. The acid-resistant epoxy clear-coat paint is superior to typical clear-coat paints for increased resistance to urban pollutants.
Exterior Colors
Bellanova White Pearl
Crystal Black Pearl
Forged Silver Metallic
Graphite Luster Metallic
Gilded Pewter Metallic
Pomegranate Pearl
Silver Moon Metallic
Interior Colors
Ebony Leather
Graystone Leather
Seacoast Leather (with medium gray instrument panel upper)
Just realized that it looks like the upper gray dash is only for the seacoast, which is good bc I was not happy about that feature added on to the black interior.

I've compared a black car with a graphite car.
The Graphite Metallic definitely had more glitter!

I was hoping for a color just for the awd rlx so it stands out from the paw front driver Rlx. I went to dealer today told price of Awd Rlx will be way near 70.000 for the advance. Too rich for my blood!!

That's the first time I realized that the RLX Hybrid had electric air conditioning. I never even thought about it before, and it's funny that nobody ever mentioned it before.
It makes sense. But you'd think it'd have been a talking point.

The Acuranews chart also refers to "simulated" walnut trim. Oh, well.

Acura hasn't released an official price yet (surprisingly) so we don't know, and the dealers don't know, either. My guess is that they were spouting off a little in hopes of getting you to bite on a FWD PAWS RLX at your visit. Ain't capitalism grand?

Advanced
I also went to the dealer yesterday and was told that it will be available on 4/8 or 4/9.
(He was confident.)
Also he said "expect $65K for SH-AWD RLX".
(He was not so confident.)

Torch & Pitchfork Posse
I personally and not a fan of the limited exterior and interior color choices.
But being the low volume of the RLX, it seems to me that the 2 models and packages are already over diversified with selections. I would not image new color choices would be layered in. Add in overseas origination it will be a chore to get one they way you want it and ordering a SHAWD will be a process of months.

The electric a/c caught my eye too. Do the Honda Hybrids also have electric a/c?
