2015 RLX BWP/Seacoast

Hi,

Just wanted to let you guys know that i picked up my 2015 RLX Advanced BWP/Seacoast yesterday. I had bought it about a week and a half ago in MA, and just waited for the dealer to get my NY Reg/Plates. Drove it home last night, and it drove exactly as i expected. It's about 200 miles, and i do that drive once or twice a week, so i know the road and how all my other cars (2012 TL SH-AWD, 2012 TSX Sport Wagon, 2014 MDX SH-AWD) handled it. The suspension is a little firm (which i like), and really quite. This of course is preliminary as i have only 230 miles on the RLX, but i believe this is the right car for me (and the type of driving i do).

Thank you for all of your help.......you are a great bunch of guys!

Congratulations! Glad to hear you're loving it! I find I'm doing little trips here and there just to go for a drive!

Congrats my friend! Sounds like you and I need a photo op! We should go to the Harbor Island Park as that would be a nice back drop for the cars.

pgeorg....Congrats on your RLX!! I saw a few in the flesh and for anyone that hasn't seen this car in person, you have no idea what you are missing! It looks gorgeous and not sure why the pics don't do this car justice...The closest pics I have seen to how stunning this car is are the ones posted by CanadacuraTL.

I particularly appreciated the comments about how great the members are on this forum...I have seen some personal attacks lately and I have been subjected to them myself which I still understand why. I try and be respectful, helpful, funny and lighten the mood on this forum. I agree that I can be a bit critical but I try to be careful how I word it so I don't attack the members of this forum and such....but I agree, overall, we are a great bunch of car guys

Enjoy your RLX - You have a beautiful vehicle my friend.

Let me speak for the rest of civilized folks over here. I think we are all older, wiser and honorable citizens on the RLX side of the Zine. I have looked from time to time on other forums of the Zine and frankly it is scary over there. I don't know what people think they are doing but cyber bullying or worse depending on the depths of the content are actionable depending on the level of the threats and comments. I don't want that over here so only nice and responsible people should stay here. Rif-raf stay away please.

We have had some engaging debates when we disagree with each other over here but they always have been respectful as long as I have been a member. If that were to change I would have to depart as I have no interest in that.

By all means stay with us. Welcome!

Another 2015 Advance on the forum, pretty soon we will be over taking the number of 2014 RLX on this forum

Congrats pgeorg!!

I have found the Acurazine RLX forum to be a wealth of information that you just can't find anywhere else - welcome aboard the owner's discussion.

I am sure Acura could achieve taking over the world......if they actually put some effort into it.....

Thank you for the kind words neuronbob! I most likely would not have ventured into the RLX world if it wasn't for you guys......

Congratulations pgeorg!

I previously owned the 4g TL and really liked it both inside and out. However, once I saw the RLX, and took it out for an extended 2 day test drive, I was impressed with the spacious and luxurious interior, commanding road presence, and overall feelin of luxury the car gave me.

Despite the critics, my personal experience with the car has been wonderful. There are a few things I'd like to change here and there, but you have a great car and I'm confident it will provide you years of driving pleasure.
